Who Are We and What Do We Do? The Dubois County Soil and Water Conservation District serves all rural and urban citizens of Dubois County, with emphasis on agricultural lands. We work to reduce soil erosion and promote clean water. The SWCD identifies and prioritizes local soil and water resource concerns and provides technical, financial and informational assistance to conserve our natural resources for future generations.
Our Mission Statement: The Dubois County Soil and Water Conservation District promotes to all citizens– both agricultural and non-agricultural– the vital benefits of protecting and preserving natural resources, especially soil and water. |
